Guild Wars 2 is the upcoming sequel to Guild Wars. Currently in development at ArenaNet, Guild Wars 2 will offer the same free to play model as the original game series while introducing a host of graphical and mechanics upgrades.

Guild Wars players will find only their character names and achievements carry over, as everything else is planned to be completely new. Where characters could only move with mouse clicks, now there will be a full range of motion in 3-D for each character, destructible environments, a mentoring system to let higher and lower level players join forces, and additional layers to PvP.

Atlantica Online is a Free to Play / Item Mall based MMOG by NDOORS Interactive. The game features traditional JRPG-styled turn based combat (a'la Final Fantasy) and allows players to assemble groups of up to 8 player-controlled mercenaries to utilize in battle. 

EVE Online is a subscription based sandbox style MMORPG from the people at CCP. ArcheAge is a 3D MMORPG currently in development from Korean game developer, XLGAMES. The game is being developed as where player is completely free to choose what to do, how to live and make their own content by themselves. Expanding on this, characters won't be subject to strict limitations on growth, such as is the case in other MMOs. 

WonderKing Online is a 2D MMORPG developed by Ryu & Soft. Gamers will adventure through all manner of locales in an attempt to defeat the army of Zero Force.

Some notable features of the game include:

• Player housing: Players get their own space to occupy and decorate within the game.
• Pet System: Players are able to have their own pet companion, and must care for and feed it.
• Mounts & Vehicles: Access to mounted animals, and even drivable vehicles!
• Castle Sieges: WonderKing will feature Castle Siege PvP for players to do battle over.

This super hero based MMORPG from the people who brought you City of Heroes makes use of a cell shaded art style that brings the look of a comic book to life. Based on an old pen and paper IP, Champions, the game will see an Earth where generations of superheoes have protected the rest of us from evil villains who would seek to rule us or do us harm. 

In Pirates of the Burning Sea players captain their own ship as a pirate, adventurer (a sort of privateer/merchant hybrid) or naval officer, with avatars being highly customizable. This MMO focuses on real time PvE and PvP combat, with players controlling their ship’s heading, speed, special abilities and attacks. In addition to impromptu encounters, it is also possible to conquer enemy ports and take on missions, some of which follow an ongoing story as your character develops.
